Charitable Status
The SSHGA is a federally recognized non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and is classified as a public charity.
Donors can deduct any contributions they make to the SSHGA under IRC Section 170. We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522. Items that were paid for over and above the stated value at the Heather Ball auction this year also qualify. Keep in mind that the SSHGA also benefits if the company you work for has a gift-matching program.
Note: Our charitable status was effective as of 4 September 2015 which means you may take any eligible deductions for any donations made.

2026 Competition Sponsorship
Invitation To Become a Competition Sponsor
Contributions will be accepted up to the Games, but the deadline for listing names in the program is
June 25, 2026.
At the 2026 PNW Highland Games, over $50,000 will be awarded in prize money, scholarships, and medals & trophies for the dancing, drumming/piping, and athletics competitions you love. Your individual, group, or business competition sponsorship helps ensure the continuation of these annual events.
Any amount is greatly appreciated, but Friends of the Games who contribute a total of $50 or more will be listed in the souvenir program. Friends of the Games will also receive one 1-day ticket to the Games for each $75 increment they give (up to a maximum of 10 tickets).
In addition to the incentives above, those who contribute $450 or more will be listed as Friends of the Games Superstars in the program and receive one free 2026 Games t-shirt. T-shirts must be picked up at the Games.
Contributions will be accepted up to the Games, but the deadline for listing names in the program is June 22, 2025.
