The SSHGA is a federally recognized non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and is classified as a public charity.

Donors can deduct any contributions they make to the SSHGA under IRC Section 170. We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522. Items that were paid for over and above the stated value at the Heather Ball auction this year also qualify. Keep in mind that the SSHGA also benefits if the company you work for has a gift-matching program.

Note: Our charitable status was effective as of 4 September 2015 which means you may take any eligible deductions for any donations made.
