Support Bringing Scotland to the Pacific Northwest on November 30

Welcome to the most generous day of the year! On November 30 #Giving Tuesday, we ask that you support Scotland in our Pacific Northwest community with a gift to the Seattle Scottish Highland Games Association. Your generosity creates our festival that is enjoyed by family, friends, neighbors, and a myriad of pipers, drummers, dancers and athletes in our community as we gather at the Pacific Northwest Scottish Highland Games & Clan Gathering.

Your donation on #Giving Tuesday could have double the impact this year when you give using our Facebook page! On this global day of giving Facebook and PayPal are matching up to $7 Million of funds raised on Facebook for U.S. nonprofits. Give now on our Facebook page so your gift could be matchedl

This year more than ever your donation would be so beneficial since, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we had to cancel both the 2020 and 2021 Scottish Games. Even though the bulk of our expenses with the Games was no longer an issue, the majority of our yearly income is no more as well. We must still fund our operating costs that remain. Multiple storeroom rent, insurance, phone, etc. still had to be funded. We ask that you consider donating to the SSHGA to help us forge through this difficult time!

Today, we hope you’re inspired to give back to your Scottish community and support the magic that is Scotland here in our great Pacific Northwest.

Are you a Facebook user? If you are you can generate a Fundraiser for #Giving Tuesday and solicit your friends to support your Scottish passion! Thanks to Colin Mathieson for creating one for us! Also thanks to Sharon Ritelis who created a Funraiser through the Give Big WA web site!
